Awake, Disarranged. I stumble for the pen, without a second left to waste Start the clocks and make haste. The mind will not wait as the words fill the page, the moments fly by as the ink recreates, a scene, vivid, but fleeting. I start from the end and travel to the beginning of this dream. I write it all down, thinking back to how it looked, who I met, and what I found. The images fade so fast, stirred like the sands of the savannah in an old hourglass. Blurring lines, just play it one more time, the silhouette remains, the body, the face, another detail gained, another lost in its place. Concentrate, there’s only one way you can live this again, by paper and pen. Awake, Disarranged, struggling to maintain the mainframe, hold time in place. The light from the sky travels past the blinds, cascading rays around the room, and upon my eyes. Blasted sun, you taunt me. All I wanted was more and it haunts me how much I know was there waiting, waiting to be discovered, remembered. Oh, how I want to remember. I want to remember. Blurring lines, just play it one more time, the silhouette remains, the body, the face, another detail gained, another lost in its place. Concentrate, there’s only one way you can live this again, by paper and pen.

Hands up, putting cans to lips and taking in for the hell of it. Oh my god, who gives a shit, Tonight’s the night to finally live Everyone please come in, have a seat, and begin to binge Everyone in this room is a member of this infatuation We fall victim to our selfish dependence We fall victim to our selfish reliance We fall victim to our selfish dependence We fall victim to our selfish reliance You feel the bottle in your hands, gripping it as it feeds demands. "I want to let go" they all say, And release as they drink away. Hands up, putting cans to lips and taking in for the hell of it. Oh my god, who gives a shit, Tonight’s the night to finally live Everyone please come in, have a seat, and begin to binge, because everyone in this room is a member of this infatuation Oh! I lost my way, filling the void while my soul went astray faded to nothing but empty goals and dismay. You feel the bottle in your hands, gripping it as it feeds demands. "I want to let go" they all say, And release as they drink away. Hands up, putting cans to lips and taking in for the hell of it. Oh my god, who gives a shit, Tonight’s the night to finally live Everyone please come in, have a seat, and begin to binge, because everyone in this room is a member of this infatuation We fall victim to our selfish dependence We fall victim to our selfish reliance We fall victim to our selfish dependence We fall victim to our selfish reliance

I breathe air tinged with fervor, Blood flowing violently, Victimizing the body in return. Am I trapped in this mentality? The bull once enchained now set loose onto society. Can this grasp last me long enough? Loosening slowly, Tearing apart my memories, Every single thing I love. Every single thing I love fades away. And I'm left wondering, Is there hope for me? And I'm left wondering, Is there hope for me? And I'm left wondering, Is there... I breathe air tinged with fervor, Blood flowing violently, Victimizing the body in return. What am I harboring? My heart beats to a drum of terror and agony. This state of conflict. My instincts persist, I put my body into fits of interminable ire and blank consciousness And I am in A constant state of conflict. The more I resist, the harder it constricts around my throat, cutting off the ties to the life that I live. I see only one thing And it’s killing me so slowly Just a fatal mentality Rising from inside Nothing can compromise Rising from inside Nothing can compromise My definition of life is a reprise Of endless struggle and desperate cries And yet I keep breathing despite Everything that’s not right Through enduring hard times, A man will find solace In life
